There are tons of people I know that are holding off LBP until Christmas as well.(not that it really matters since 10-15 people wont really matter towards sales btw) including myself.

Btw, I expect 600k for R2 first week in NA.

with LBP , Motorstorm, & Socom so hyped on PS3, i don't think this is a good sales
look at the number of thread for LBP in these forums or other forums it is so hyped.

Not earth-shattering but more than good. Its no Halo and a new franchise so the really interesting part is how it will hold up once people start creating new levels etc.

Motorstorm 2 didn't do so hot :(

But atleast lbp sold good :D I'm happy with the sales of LBP.

LBP will do better, it can still sell 4-5 million worldwide.

SOCOM is probablly at about 255-265k with downloads. (I say dl would be about 5-10% of disc sales) Not bad for an online only game.

UT3 Ps3 - 530k
UT3 360 - 360k
Warhawk - 460k (Probablly 480-500k with downloads)
Shadow Run - 360k
SOCOM - 230k + about 10k for opening week in Japan. (I say about 35k in EU week1)

I think LBP is tracking about right. Although the concepts are great and it is a great game, it is not for everyone. It will have excellent legs.

It's doing good. Will break a million in NA soon, and easily.

sales are good, but I expected way more.

In terms of north american sales I think LBP could get lost in the shuffle with all the other big titles that are coming out. People only have so much money to spend and they may have decided to go for RES2 and fallout over LBP.

It could be a different picture for Europe though were Sony sales are stronger.
