That week 5 jump makes me all giddy, for Wii and 360.
Man, what's week 8 going to look like?!

Dam week 8 will be insane. The wii has a very very good chance to topple the ps2's record of 1.74m and has a good chance of pushing over to the 2.0m mark. epic.

so with sales for both the wii, and 360 going so well I think the question becomes, can shipments keep up with demand, Ms said 25 million shippend through november, will there be enough stock for december? thing should start to get tight unless they sat on stock earlier this year and are just pushing them out the door now.

It is pretty much guaranteed that Wii breaks all the PS2's records. It has been consistently ahead (WW) ever since it launched, and has unprecedented demand. The only reason it wouldn't break this record is if they didn't ship enough for a single week.

The Wii already had a 800k week sales (WW) outside of holidays, which is ~2x times more than the PS2 ever did outside of holidays (that I could find anyways)
