If Sony didn't expect LBP to be big in Japan, then why did they make all those TV commercials?


I think SCE Japan did have high expectations, but they concentrated their marketing efforts on the wrong console/game.

I expect LBP to be big bundle-wise in Japan. By itself I expect it to be big in the EU and US markets.

amazing how quickly people forget how hyped LBP was in this forum for Japan. There's already a link to a thread where there is a large amount of people saying so.

Why is that store empty? Not even a single person in line there.

You sure that store was even open?


Not trying to "damage control" (people seem to love that word these days), it is just so weird to see a store like that with absolutely no people what so ever. Although I have never been in any Japanese stores.
