That never stopped people from saying Nintendo would bow out of the console war.
Just saying, it's stupid to predict things like this.

sony its not a gaming company only.
they even with ps3 dragging it feet made profit.
even at the market VERY low they still get half billion in profits.

Price, arrogance etc. |
The PS3 was and is worth every penny, but yes they were arrogant to think they could get anywhere without games. If they hadn't let exclusives get away from them they would have done great.

It's amazing what sort of trash is allowed to see (digital?) print these days. The only person in this thread that even buys into this tripe is guilty of schadenfreude towards Sony, and for good reason. There is simply no way Sony will bow out after the PS3 when they had the two most popular consoles in history before it. Sega was never as successful as Sony and they still soldiered through 2 failed systems.
You do not have the right to never be offended.

Me too.
LOL... MS will drop out before Sony does. Sony has gained more from the industry than MS ever will.
I don't get why people are making such a huge fuss over this, it's an editorial, if it wasn't highly opinionated, biased and lacking proper facts it wouldn't be an editorial.
They win the 5th gen by 70 million, the sixth gen by 100 million, and now they're losing the seventh gen by 17 million (and losing to the 360 by 5.5 million)
Yup, Sony are DEFINITELY bowing out of the console business.
William Usher is a fanboy.
