OK, nice to have this cleared up. You don't understand the figures and no, devs weren't horrified about that inquirer article at all. All Beyond3D guys stated the read speed of the Cell from the RSX's local memory is greatly irrelevant (look up the relevant thread), but the fact that it's there is still useful for some rare testing purposes (on a PC this is not possible at all). The XDR memory is a lot faster for the Cell to work with, for a CPU especially one like the Cell low latencies is very important.

It makes by far more sense for the RSX to use the XDR next to its GDDR3 memory as RSX graphics data is usually much bigger than executeable code and other small pieces of data to be processed, it does not make sense to move such code from XDR to GDDR3 and then read it.

ROFL. Tech specs, pixel counts etc do not matter. Good visuals are a combination of style and technical proficiency. I submit that Braid looks better visually then killzone, gears and Resistance.

Those caves in gears 2 are the best graphics i've seen to date on any console. I watched that video and my face was like WOW the whole time.

Cant wait to play this on my hdtv myself. GIVE IT TO ME! MORE BADASS!!! :D

But, artistically, this is not my cup of tea, the bodybuilder hero with his big dick, oups, I meant gun, doesn't impress me.
Same go for the environnements. It is detailled, very detailled, even original, but uninspired.

Selnor, you can jack of to the caves in Gears 2 al you want, but it doesn't hold a candle to KZ2.

dude its about quality not quantity 10 player gears is great and just right 60 players on R2 is too much you wont be able to play with out getting spawn killed every time 

the co op part is also a bit stupid if halo 3 was completed in 12 hours on your own and  under 4 with 4 people R2 will be finished in 2 hours lol with 8
