dude. It was a guy who wrote a letter to sony. He said he found it offensive. Can't be arsed to explain.. read this: http://kotaku.com/5065106/nsiders-letter-to-sony-and-media-molecule-re-quran-references

Well according to the letter it doesn't seem like they asked that the game be recalled. They asked that it be patched on release and that future copies have it removed. Couldn't Sony have done that instead of a delay. Unless they are trying to garner press by showing they did the right thing and didn't try to save money on a solution?
Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

didnt u hear of Dubai before ?
Not every PS3 owner has the internet so a re-call was required. None the less, the game will still be excellent and a holiday must buy for PS3 owners. I give Sony props for recognizing this and rectifying it before it turned into something it did not need to become.

Give me a break man. Dubai is the most populous UAE city.
BTW, if they put in some Jesus content the launch would not be affected.
Ridicilous political correctness now days is getting more and more annoying. Poor Sackboy
Couple of you guys are mixing stuff up. The European release is delayed to the 31, and the American release is delayed to the week of 27, or most likely the 28th. Still on Tuesday.
...
Well I'm glad the delay is only a week and as a muslim I personally wouldn't care but I understand why people would. It was classy of Sony to address to quickly and tactfully. Kudos
BTW how much muslim and islam bashing did i miss, just heard about the news now
