Great library, Nintendo's consoles don't have issues of breaking down like other consoles so usually I wait to get the others to make sure there are no issues or the issues are fixed, Wii also has the ability to do something amazingly different with IR and motion controls, much like DS did for handhelds, a normal console like PSP is amazing and fun, but DS just has the stronger line up of games cause it can do something other handhelds can't.

Wii also has Gamecube support and GC had some of the best games last gen. Then with the downloadable NES, SNES, N64, Gen, etc titles it helped me restore the collection of games I lost in my house fire, though it's going to be a pain to go out and find the sega CD player for the games I had on it, Sonic CD is still the best sonic ever made.

Because I love Nintendo and their games. Just look at my collection.

To anger HD gaming fanboys who fail to understand the appeal of Wii.


Of course the game library, intuitive input methods, GC B/C, VC, etc....all factored into the choice as well.

Because it's orientated to bring new experiences which 360 and PS3 are only doing again. I still like the other systems, but because they tread the same old road they are not worth the price of the Wii to mii.

Zelda was a launch game.
It was the least expensive.
Future games I wanted.
Virtual Console.
It's Nintendo.

I actually bought my 360 first.

I usually get a Nintendo console after at least one price cut but I got the Wii with haste when Brawl was released. Other than Brawl, I got it for Galaxy, TP, Corruption, MK Wii(was coming in least than a month), etc.
