Did anyone else find Avery's comment hilarious?

Thought Avery's comments were just dumb. Did you see the video of him saying it?

 I can't stand that slimeball. I hope Phaneuf gives him what he has coming the next time they meet. Of course, Avery will just turtle.

I didn't see the video, just heard a sound byte. Did he look dumb while saying it?

If it had been any other player he talked about, it would have bothered me (like when he said Iginla was boring), but it's Phaneuf, who I hate with a passion.

Anyways, he got 6 games for that, which probably wasn't worth it for his team in the long run.

All I care about is the Blackhawks. They NEED to make the playoffs this year in order for me to be happy. It's been 75 years since they last made it. At least it seems that way.

He come's off as a total asshole (more so than usual for Avery). I'm glad the NHL suspended him, hopefully the Dallas Stars won't let him come back to play, buy out his contract & leave him out to dry (and hopefully no other team signs him).

Some team will eventually sign him to a contract (I think Hull and co. will buy him out). How happy are the Rangers for letting him go?

On a side note, how is it that you guys are owning the Oilers, outshooting them like 20-2 and tied 1-1?

Sharks lost in overtime 3-2 despite the Sharks outshooting the Oilers 43-17. I hate the Oilers, they knocked us out of the playoffs in 06, ended our 10 game winning streak last year & now ended a 9 game winning streak this year.

I hate the Oilers too....but for vastly different reasons. Of course, being a divisional rival plays a huge part in that hatred.
