@OP - First system was an Atari 2600 circa 1980-81. At least as far as I can recall. I was 3 or 4 at the time and already working on being master of Combat and Breakout.

^ dude i used to love that game....even though i never got that far. I mean, i was like 4 i didnt care...i just wanted to have a good time. A simple game like cangaroo was everything for me. I remember having more games for my atari 2600, but Cangaroo was definetly my favorite. I didnt know about the arcades though.

The first games I ever played were on the Atari 2600. I'm not sure what game it was, but I played stuff like Keystone Cops, Asteroids, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Tennis, Combat, Q*bert, etc. I can't remember which game it actually was because my Grandparents had about 30 games.

The first console I owned was the SNES. The first game I played on that system was Super Mario World. Great game. It's still one of my favorites.
