Forums - Sales - Fable 2 Co-op only possible on 360, but pter likes the PS3 too

Well, I was afraid he would roast the PS3, but he didn't. Don't take it so personally. He just said that Live was a little bit different than PSN, and that it had a slight advantage. I think that's true at least until home hits. Between game voice chat, for instance. However, Live does cost money. We don't know anything about the structure of these services, so he's probably more knowledgable than we are on the subject. No need to flame him. He's said a lot worse stuff about the PS3 in the past that you can flame him about much more significantly.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Yep. of course PSN Isn't as mature as Live. Live was available with XBOX 1.

Very true. I wonder how SEGA's service would have been if they we're here. I think they tried to tackle online with the dreamcast right?

I've corrected 10 people so far and I will keep doing it.

My saturn surfed the web, played sega rally, bomberman and duke nukem online...SATURN!!!!! :)

My bad, that's the console I meant. But yea, this is why I was asking, Sega tried online on consoles b4 everyone else right? Am wondering how thier console would have been today... their online service anyway.

Actually Nintendo was first, they had an online system on the NES, in Japan at least.

Darn--I was JUST about to post that!  But even if we restrict it to systems that had it worldwide, the SNES had a service that let you play select online games, including Street Fighter 2.  There were friends lists and everything!

It even technically had a downloadable game--that online mmo-lite Zelda thing where they actually had people hired to broadcast the voices EVERY HOUR!

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Tag, courtesy of fkusumot: "Why do most of the PS3 fanboys have avatars that looks totally pissed?"
"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

dreamcasts online was setup by ms, and was the first in america

Molyneux's comment was about as circumstancial as Alex Evans when he stated that LBP couldn't be possible on the 360.

While it is true that 'as is' neither game can be implimented on the the alternate HD system, the steparounds are so obvious and simple that it should take little more than common sense for either developers to impliment.

Minor lipservice on a technical truth. As expected from an exclusive developer and certainly not worth censur.

@Mibuokami: I think the problem with LBP was not the same as it wasn't a technical problem but a legal problem as user couldn't be able to post their levels to the Live.

They will know Helgan belongs to Helghasts

Flamethrower FTW! Or, alternatively, the mind-control gadget.
