Why are Americans always the good guys? Cause Americans are making that video game. They are always the good guys, it is the bad guys that change. It used to be Native Indians, then it was Russians, then it was Cubans, now it's us Muslims. Don't take it personally, someone has to be the villain in video games.

There is a little thing called American Hegemony.

ah i just viewed ur profile

Sorry about the misunderstanding. My profile was wrong at the time, its now been corrected. I am in fact, from Australia. I have no ties to the middle east

Uh...the game is not only in the Middle East.

And as for why Americans are always the good guys...it's American videogame companies if you want a simple answer.  Maybe countries in the Middle East should make their own videogames instead of whine about American ones.

Most likely because when they are made, people get pissed. Also I don't really care about this issue. If you have a problem...play some RTS game and make the opposite team American.

That's a bit rediculous to say. Although I've never played COD4, I doubt it was making Muslims out to be the "bad guys". If it was, then that's the game's problem and it has nothing to do with America. It's a freakin video game, I doubt the USA authorities checked over the game and gave it their seal of approval.

It's not the Muslims who are seen as the "bad guys", it's the terrorists, who just so happen to be muslims as well.

And I realized right after posting it was just a trollpost...I stick by what I said though.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

And here I was expecting to find some ranting about how leveling systems have no place in a multiplayer game. That's something I could get behind.

*yawn* How disappointing.
