do you really expect people to be proffessionals at levels only a day or two after the beta began.

tell me would you expect a 10 year old kid who began tennic coaching/ cricket coaching to be a Federer/Brian Lara straight away??.....HELL NO!

LBP actuall has 40-50 own levels with a storyline. Although the level building is the most anticipated part of the game it does not mean it lacks in other fields because the creators felt they had enough. This game has everything you'd like.

Well from the videos I saw the gameplay looks decent at best.

The most impressive thing in this game is being able to build fantastic levels with a wide range of objects in it and there is a good use of the PS3's online capacities.

 

I'm not saying it's a bad game, but for a retail game it offers too little. It would be better as a PSN game.

@the others..

No I don't expected that within 2 days there will be levels at proffesional level.. but isn't this the ultimate casual game for the PS3?? So all these casuals will make a bundle of crap levels.. you can't deny that.. it will happen... which will be rated bad.. which COULD kill the fun for the most of them.. that's what I'm worried about.. Sure the hardcore will have a great time with this.. they are nerdy enough to spent hours creating a level.. but the other users?? I don't know.. Will they stick around just to play the levels that are good? we will have to wait untill the game is released..

From the video you say the gameplay is "descent"?

So are you telling me just by looking at videos watching mario or something, it would look mediocore, or descent at best? Because its the same basic concept

For a retail game it offers too much actually, and wouldnt be better of as a PSN game because not all of us have 40gb of HDD space.

Also its a full blown story line for those 50 levels, just like mario world's story line.

The game is meant to be fun, and its achieving that, most players that have gotten the chance to play in the beta cant stop playing it. Some even say it makes MGS4 look boring(and thats a hard thing to say).

Ofcourse this is all your opinion, but I wouldnt judge anything by a video.
