Angry people, lol. They both have their ups and downs and I can work cross platform without much trouble.
When it comes to my PC, I'd rather have it than a Mac because going to newegg for your own hardware is cheaper for the performance and games I play compared to Macs. And as somebody stated above, I'm not going to overpay on similar hardware just because of the Mac OS.
When it comes to what I'm majoring in, Macs are the computers I have to use. Still, I can perform similar tasks with most of the same Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign) on both the Macs and PC's on campus though I suppose the Macs win here because each one has a widescreen monitor and nearly all of them (the new ones) have Core2Duo CPU's compared to all the PC's 19" 4:3 monitors and P4 CPU's. Not only that, the F10 and F11 buttons can be helpful when you want to compare pictures for photoshop and want to arrange a number of them up to inspect at the same time and also to get them quickly off the screen.
When it comes to interface, I can use both, but I'm more comfortable with PC's since that's what I use the most. However, I rather dislike the Mac keyboards and I HATE the Mac mice. I try to make it a habit that whenever I need to work on campus, I'll take one of my own mice to use instead of Apple's crappy one button or mighty mouse mice. A regular three button mouse feels better to use than a Mac mouse and if I took my G5 gaming mouse, I'd feel right at home.
