apple is even behing window mobile and they don't even have 3% of the smartphone market share
Yeah they are totally neglectable which must be the reason why all the phone companies are running around scared like headless chicken making touch screen iphone copies. Windows Mobile is an operating system the iPhone is a complete phone so comparing them is not really fitting. At the latest the iPhone 3G has made it into a smashing success.
The problem is Apple has in a year carved a very nice piece out of the most profitable high-end phone market for themselves and now they have a platform and will do what they do best. Make it perfect. The 3G (after the first software update) removed most problems people had with the original. I don't want to be a competitor in this market.
