Forums - PC Discussion - Your Thoughts On Internet Explorer 7

I just downloaded it today.

The tabs are great you can have all your sites active at the top of the page.

Great idea in my opinion.

Also makes the text much brighter as well.

Anyone else have it?

If so what is your opinion on it good bad or meh?

I'd rather just stick with Firefox to be honest.

I keep hearing about it but am afraid to change.

I've never used anything else only IE but this is actually looking ok.

Another site I frequent is using a firefox programme for its thread section so I can't even see it.

I suppose it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks.

Netscape already had tabs for the last 10 years! o_o
But yeah, you should really try Google Chrome one of these days, especially when RSS feeds will be compatible with it.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

Funny enough I have been reading about it over the last few days.

Most reviews are good but I got the impression it still needs a bit of work.

That's just what I took out of what I was reading.

If it's done by google I'm pretty sure it will be ok.

I might just give it a while before I consider taking the plunge.

Oh... my... god...

The least I can do is direct you to a better, faster, safer browser

FireFox and Opera are top recommendations.

EDIT: Oh, and about Chrome. I personally wont recommend a browser that only has a beta version. Not that it's bad or anything, but no finished version...

No one is saying you have to use only Firefox. The power of a computer is the ability to try out an application first before you commit to it. Make a slow change by downloading Firefox, installing it and maybe using it a few times a week. If you like it, you can begin using it more. If not, just uninstall it.

@ rainbird.
I know I'm a coward really the thoughts of losing all my favs and god knows what else terrifies me lol.

My theory is if it aint broke don't fix it.

Pathetic I know but thats me.

I just want to switch it on and have everything in the same place.

I hate it, and sadly its better than the other browsers I have..

its so glitchy.

Oh can I run both at the same time?

If so that would be grand.
