Well unless Madden Wii shows ungodly legs then its doubtful it'll go platinum. Saddening to see such a huge mainstream game just not do well on the Wii but I guess the majority mainstream buyers are still buying it on the other platforms... at least in the first few weeks. I guess it'll just have similar trends to 08. Well nothing to worry about. Luckily the success of a console has nothing to do with how well Madden sales haha.

Oh, and FYI:

NPD says that 2.3 million copies of Madden sold through in August. Adding up PS2, PS3, X360 and Wii numbers gets us to 2183.3k. That'd mean that there were *roughly* 116,700 Madden 09's sold between the PSP and DS.
