Seems like people are waiting for the 3000, PSP numbers are very low....

Same story as every other year in Japan. School starts and game sales plunder. It will be interesting to see what the 360 price cut does once supply is back on the shelves. PSP seems to be in hibernation until the 3000 modle hits shelves. The biggest thing I am interested in is, what Sony will do at TGS to get people exited about PS3 in Japan this holiday.

To me it is very odd that they have yet to announce a new modle for Japan while both the US and Europe have recived the 80GB modle and promised a 160GB modle in the middle of October. I know CrazzyMan has had the same feelings as myself in thinking a slim modle may be coming to Japan before the year is over. If it happens I expect to see a sizable price cut for PS3 in Japan at some point this holiday season. If Sony can get Japan numbers upto a respectable clip, while keeping PS3 ahead in EU, and on par in the US things should be good for PS3. I don't think a price cut in Japan will effect other teritories as the people buying consoles at this time of the year are nearly clueless on what they are purchasing.

A Slim model will only come out once the RSX and the Cell are 45nm, I believe that will happen next year.....

All low this week, too bad for 360 that was really low, will be interesting too see next week with the price cut.
