He seems to go there when I've made it too clear for him to twist into something else. I get that a lot. Rather than admit they were looking at my point wrong, they try to back out of the argument. They should be adults and admit they were wrong.

I admitted I was wrong in that there was hype, just not the kind of hype that would hurt game sales, since this is just a message board.

 Thats not really the case at all. What happens is you force a pointless semantics debate that no one cares about and they give up because you refuse to ever admit what you wrote could possibly be intepreted anyway other than what you intended. If you stopped arguing the point and looked at why people are arguing with what you didn't say rather than what you did you might see this trend. As an example, I thought Dmeisterj's take on your post was entirely accurate because you phrased your post poorly.

Judging by the amount of posts this got, I'd say it's over hyped :p
But HVS deserve the hype, so I'm all for it.

If he said I was making something up, I damn well have a right to argue semantics, if the crux of his accusation was about exactly what I wrote.

And I know words can be interpreted. That's why I choose them carefully. If I see I slipped up, I clarify what I meant. that didn't happen here. He misquoted me, and you know it.

Its kinda overhype....but NEVER at the same level than LBP.

 You seemed to miss that my point was not meant just for this thread but for every arguement you ever get into. You instantly go for the semantics arguement and no one cares enough to argue with you after that. I still remember the old Resident Evil 5 threads where you kept arguing with people for daring to use the word "impossible" but not actually adding anything substantial to your posts but an objection to that term. If you want people to admit they are wrong then don't annoy them out of the conversation by splittling hairs over semantics.

i THINK you guys underestimate controls in a game a little to much. Metroid prime 3's environments and controls made that game. This game has both and i'm sure it will be extremely fun because of that. Plus a online FPS that isnt moh 2

Since the game won't be as good as LBP the hype shouldn't be as good.
