Ever since the <b>HUGE</b> announcement made during Microsofts' E3 conference regarding the port of Final Fantasy XIII has made me notice the obscurity in peoples' reaction toward the announcement. Before the plan to port was made public, PS3 fanboys were extremely excited over the game. Now, I'm reading comments were the Sony faithful are saying "Who cares about FF13? Versus looks so much more interesting,". Honestly, Square-Enix has rarely shown anything regarding both games so I'm skeptical if either will be good at all or if Versus is even going to be better. So, enough with the "Boooo, it suks cuz it'z multi-platt" crap and actually WAIT to see until we see gameplay and story trailers. Also, Wait until we know even more about Versus. Seriously, it's annoying to read "I hate square now".

What about the people who were saying it'd be crap before it became multiplat?

i always thought versus looked more interesting, alot of people did actually.

 I'm not referring to those individuals. I'm talking about the people that were interested in the game and yet, quickly changed their opinion once the Multiplat announcement was made.

Versus always looked more interesting. I'd like some of that urban, dark FF VII-esque FF this time.

If you  focus on only one side of the hypocrasy, it makes it look like you're only pointing out the hypocrasy to further some agenda.

Versus ALWAYS looked LESS interesting because it was not a TRUE RPG.

Nope. I have no agenda on the matter. If people thought that FFXII looked crappier than Versus before the announcement, then that's great. But geez, to change opinion once it went multiplat is stupid.

Yeah, it's pretty funny how that worked. I guess some people may've reasoned themselves into it being inferior because "it can't fully take advantage of the PS3" or whatever. But there's little doubt that a lot of the downplaying of FFXIII is based on the fact that it can no longer be used as fanboy ammo. I believe that if you check out some older threads, you'll find it being thrown in Xbox fans' faces; stuff to the tune of "Star Ocean 4 is an LOLJRPG compared to the real deal, FFXIII!"

And imo the versus ones looked cooler. Besides the main character isnt emo, gloomy nor goofy for a change,
