Forums - Nintendo - Making a buying list: wanna help? ^^

No need to update Zelda and especially not RE4. I was pretty disapointed by it (in terms of not bieng different for GC).

Briefly I would say Metroid Prime 3 and (Super Mario Galaxies or Okami), If you really reeeally like Zelda Twilight Princess than Okami may be more for you.

Also of note: Guitar Hero III and soon to come IV are awesome and worthy LATER on when your budget is better

Wii has some great $20 New titles out there. Geometry Wars, Ghost Squad, and Mercury Meltdown Revolution are all getting more playtime in my household than any of $50 epics.

Wii Zapper + Link's Crossbow training for $20 = Great Deal (I convinced two people already to buy it when in line for Wii Fit). I was very happy with that purchase!

Honestly I like the Wii more for the budget titles (of quality) than for the new big N games. You got a lot of options for budget gaming.

If I were to pick only 3 of the games you've listed, I'd pick Mario Kart Wii, Super Mario Galaxy, and Metroid Prime 3.

But it's true that you really should look at Zack & Wiki and No More Heroes, they're great games selling for incredibly low prices. I'm not sure what the market is like in Mexico, but you can get them for less than $20 each up here.

Personally, I believe that you can't go wrong with Brawl and Galaxy. If you also go with MK Wii you have an amazing starting lineup for a Wii. MK Wii and Brawl are mostly fun if you have friends who'd like to play too though. The other games you listed, out of the ones I've played, are great too, but I think you'd be better off waiting with them.

Regarding RE4, I first played it on the Wii so I can't really comment I suppose, but the controls are amazing.

Mario Kart Wii, SSBB, and SMG. If you get a 4th game get MP3 or Okami.

I already have RE4 in GC too..is it worth the change?

Get it for the Wii, it's by far the best version.  The only downside is after playing RE4:Wii you'll wonder why every other shooter doesn't play like that.

I will argue against this. RE4 Wii is definately a must-have Wii game but considering the fact that you already completed the GC version I'd recommend spending your small budget buying some brand new games like MK, SSBB, Galaxy & MP3 first.

I still would recommend Getting Resident Evil 4 Wii (get it second hand or something)

also Galaxy, Brawl, No MOre Heroes

And if you like a bit of a challenge in SRPG style get Fire Emblem that game rocks and will entertain you for long time.

Also it's worth to wait for: Fatal Frame IV, Wario Shake It or ToS2 (hell knows when those are coming out)

i think MP3 and force unleashed will be two games that really show the potential of the wii
