@CTK Matsuno himself said he was making a wii game. How is that a rumor?

I didn't know that but still we won't hear about it for a long time it seems nintendo doesn't like to unveil their games until they are ready.So I predict that we will see the new zelda first and then this game.By the way did matsumo say his was teaming with nintendo and monolith to make an rpg for the wii?

After all the hate that FFXII has gotten on these boards, IDK how anyone could be excited for this (not saying that anyone said that), but FFXII had a really bad reception with gamers. I personally loved it, so I'll be looking forward to this RPG, but lots of people apparently didn't.

Except...it wasn't Matsuno's fault it was bad. He left midway in the project (to go to Nintendo most likely) and SE just ****ed up the rest. This time he'll actually be able to stay. And I know a lot of people like Ogre Battle and FFT and such.

Erm...

Failry optimistic of you.

 To a very high degree it WAS Matsuno's fault.  He left before FFXII was completed IIRC.

This will only take a moment of your time. *steals your watch*

OK, it was his fault for leaving BUT he doesn't have a reason to leave when he makes the Wii game so it'll be as high quality as he wants to make it. You can't accuse of Matsuno being a bad developer for something like hiim leaving midway through O_o

@noname

Yeah, he did :P

I didn't. >_>

Matsuno also mentioned that he agrees with Nintendo's stance of gameplay over graphics. "Graphics (these days) have evolved, and there are many games claiming that this generates a more realistic atmosphere. However, there are very few games that have a control interface that lives up to this atmosphere. With the Wii controller you can actually feel like you're touching or living in this atmosphere."

--> This is the main problem with SQeenix these days and why I prefer the Tales series over the Final Fantasy series.

How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...
