Except...it wasn't Matsuno's fault it was bad. He left midway in the project (to go to Nintendo most likely) and SE just ****ed up the rest. This time he'll actually be able to stay. And I know a lot of people like Ogre Battle and FFT and such.

To a very high degree it WAS Matsuno's fault. He left before FFXII was completed IIRC.

OK, it was his fault for leaving BUT he doesn't have a reason to leave when he makes the Wii game so it'll be as high quality as he wants to make it. You can't accuse of Matsuno being a bad developer for something like hiim leaving midway through O_o
