What's Free Realms, by the way?

A free to play, microtransaction based MMO for PS3/PC. Site isn't up and running yet, but I think the mascot is pretty charming:

lol it does

shame about no gow3

no RPGs , shame :(

It looks about the same as the E3 list, just added Heavy Rain and Free Realms (watever that is). Not that it's a bad thing, just that it'd be nice to see something new...Although, I think it's better than announcing something very early (home).

Meh. The only ones of those we haven't seen anything/much of is Heavy Rain and Free Realms. And Free Realms in an MMO which immediately puts it in my 'do not care' file.

I was hoping for something else really impressive, like GoW 3 or MAG gameplay, or perhaps a new title to be revealed (Savage Moon, for example).

Still, if we get Heavy Rain gameplay footage, I'll be content.

I didn't know Heavy Rain was a second party game!

I hope they will talk some more about Home. Possibly announce a release date. Heavy Rain's graphics look great, i just hope that the gameplay and storyline is interesting.

Quantic Dreams know their stuff, don't even worry about that game.

It's so weird that three of those games are MMO's. Very strange to see those on consoles to me.

I'm glad that Heavy Rain is a definite show, I'm interested to see how that turns out. Also the Agency has been looking good to me for a while, and I hope they have alot to show on that.

All that said, I personally hope they still have a surprise or two in store.

If it's anything like there last game, Indigo Prophecy (aka Fahrenheit), which I just finished, the gameplay is going to pretty much be context sensitive interactions with people and the environment along with a ton of Shenmue-like quick time events. The story ought to be presented incredibly well. The original game marketed as an interactive movie, which is a great description. I do worry that this is going to be a full Blu Ray release for $60. No way I would've paid that much for Indigo Prophecy. It's a very compelling game, but its style seems more suited toward smaller cheaper episodic releases like movies or TV shows rather than a 10+ hour disk game.

My Top 5:

Shadow of the Colossus, Metal Gear Solid 3, Shenmue, Skies of Arcadia, Chrono Trigger

My 2 nex-gen systems: PS3 and Wii

Prediction Aug '08: We see the PSP2 released fall '09. Graphically, it's basically the same as the current system. UMD drive ditched and replaced by 4-8gb on board flash memory. Other upgrades: 2nd analog nub, touchscreen, blutooth, motion sensor. Design: Flip-style or slider. Size: Think Iphone. Cost: $199. Will be profitable on day 1.
