Well, it's an additional big title that has been released, and comparisions will be drawn when talking about pre-orders for big games. The fact that MGS 4 will likely sell more, but had a similar number of pre-orders is an surprising piece of data (if true).

Too human to outsell Resistance 2, killzone 2 and Motrostrom 2 combined....... Place your bets now lol.... people have been writing off too human from day one..... i personally hope it succeeds to quieten down the sony defence force lol

Haze, I can see it. Assassin's Creed, you're reaching, but still plausible. Mass Effect? Crap? That's a bold statement, and I don't think you'll find many supporters that aren't yourself in disguise.

 

 

All you have to do is to consider the stooges who made the comment. When you realize it's two kids, with one of them acting like he was drunk and the only alcohol he's ever sipped was rubbing alcohol, you won't see a need to respond.

If the statement doesn't contain 'All hail the PS3,' or 'The PS3 totally rocks' or 'The PS3 will dominate ALL' then both magpies will respond.

Seeming they enjoy 360 trolling, you know what to expect when you see their tired avatars.

OT: Interesting. 850K sounds high - maybe the lifetime total, but 850K preorders? Dang, I'm gonna have to download the demo then. Hmmmm.

i got so hyped for mass effect that when i did actually play it i was really annoyed.

i have played games that are better then mass effect and that games does not deserve to be an AAA title. i dont know why i dont like it but when i was playing i ton my pc i could not get into it at all.

I believe this statement as much as I believe the thread about your mammie buying you a 360. /PHAIL.

 If you dont know how to play it, thats different. I bevile than just 2 or 3 people in this site thinks like you, maybe i am wrong, but i havent read another guy saying than mass effect was a crap.

OT: the game has been hyped since the 360 launch, and remember the problems betwen the developers and epic for the unreal engine, more hype and maybe, thanks for the demo, many people think than its good enough to buy it. Those 850k pre-orders could be right or not far from real numbers.

 just for you dudes information i got a 360 not a ps3 soo no trolling here sunshine played the game not that impress it was meh on the demo anyway and for these dudes to pre order it before any reviews and stuff i think that incredilbe short sited.

In saying that i might pick it up after i buy better games on 360 this year by that i mean after Gears of war 2  the star wars game (it's name escape now) fable 2 then and only then i will pick up too human

Make sure you play at least 1 hour and turn on the "advanced fighting" (Or something like that. I don't know the real name at the moment) in the menue and you will have a lot of fun.

I get the feeling you thought Bioshock was the worst game in history and then when you found out it would be ported to the PS3, you claim it to be greater than MGS4...

I think 850,000 is a bit on the high side. I'm guessing it'll be a good-great game (75-85) but I think lifetime sales will be around 2 million (it just doesn't seem to have that mass appeal of other successful 360 titles have had so far).

Of course, this is based on the videos I've seen, so things could be different if I actually play the game.
