The scripting in CoD4 was amazing. What Halo did better was the fight against groups of enemies. One or two elite a couple of small guys and lots of choices how to crush them.

He's an ass... but I wouldn't say he's delusional.. You could argue that Halo:CE is still better then Resistance/Killzone. Killzone is a no brainer, Halo beats it hands down. And sure Resistance has better graphics, but comparing gameplay? I don't know..

Wow, those were some pretty funny fanboy posts.

I remember being really bored watching my roomate play through the Halo single-player. COD4 single-player was pretty enjoyable, IMO.

But seriously, Halo 3's campaign was tons worse than CoD 4, good thing Halo 3's major draw isn't a story, but the multi-player. But for non-XBL owners, the campaign does need to be overhauled.

yeah well admitting you like real world FPS... halo and cod have in common the fact that you are shooting in both but that's about it.... it's as much close to each other than mario kart is from forza.....

 

@kyros, scripting is a good trick to make suspens build up and do good scenaristic effects... I personnaly don't like it.... but bungie is known to have better AI and especially group behavior engine than other FPS.... if you observe carrefully that was true even in the first halo.... it's more obvious in the 3rd one though

CoD4 has the superior campaign, no doubt about that, but with co-op I think Halo is miles ahead.

I knew you would understand my point....partly because we were playing co-op last Saturday!

Exactly! Once you figure out where everyone is coming from you can just plan accordingly and run through certain parts while others can be a bitch for the same reasons. With Halo it seems the game will adjust accordingly at times to what the players do.

halo campaign is much better but it should be there is a story behind it that has been made over 3 games the cod 4 campaign was just uter sh** but the mulitiplayer is the best of this gen by miles
