"Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of The Patriots" shipped over 3 million units worldwide.

 

MGS 4 is not all the MGS franchise.

 

vgchartz numbers = 2.69 sold to customers... shipped numbers around 3.3 - 3.5 million by now i guess

 

sounds about right to me

Good point Fishyjoe. I was wondering why the discrepency in Metal gear:3,94 and MGS4 shipped over 3 million. Normally one would have wrote almost 4 million. I guess that explains it then.

It's much more likely that "more than 3 million" amounts to something like 3.2-3.4 million shipped, theres no way they shipped a million copies of PSP/PS2 iterations of metal gear.
