I have a Wii60 now, and with my DS and PSP as well, I have more than enough games. For this reason, my price range is $150-$200 for a PS3 with blu ray and full BC, and $100 for a PS3 without BC and with Blu Ray.

PS360's libraries overlap so much, I don't see why someone would own both. It makes more sense to own a Wii and something else than to own both HD consoles.

When you play a video game do you play it or you play the resolution.  Suggesting that because one console is HD and another is not is one of the most ridiculous thing a human being could say.  

And people didn't move from PS1 to PS2.  They moved because they wanted to play the sequels to the games they had played on PS1.  With PS3 that advantage is gone.  Games that were exclusively on PS1 and PS2 are now on 360. 

The thing that amazes me about Sony fans is that PS1 wasn't as powerful as N64 and PS2 was weaker than Gamecube and Xbox.  Now that Sony decided to push graphics it has now become the most amazing thing in the world.  The truth of the matter is that if Sony had released the Wii and Nintendo the super powerful computer all the Sony fans shouting about graphics would have been shouting about motion control instead and saying graphics don't matter.  I think is a shame when a person loves a company so much that they go as far as lying to themselves.

Ok Crazzy explain me this.... If the Wii has not converted any old PS2 owners, why have the sales of current Gen consoles in America not managed to surpass what the previous gen consoles did in the same timeframe.

You would have thought that as there are so many new gamers (if there are no PS2 owners with Wiis, but all GC owners now have it, that means nearly 10 million new gamers already) that sales would have far exceeded what they did last gen.

You can't give me any BS about "PS2 still selling" because the PS1 did exactly the same at the beginning of 6th Gen. (In America PS1 did better than the PS2 does now)

Face it, So far, Nintendo has not enticed a massive number of "new gamers" at all, My guess would be around 2-3 million (about 10%).

The Wii userbase will likely be made up of:
AT LEAST 60% will have owned a PS2 (most of those will be PS2 only)
AT LEAST 20% will not have owned a PS2, but will have owned GC/XB/DC (most of those will at least have a GC)

AT MOST 20% will not have had a 6th gen console, but at least a quarter of those will at least have had a console before hand (5th gen or earlier) or are a PC gamer as well)

Anyway, Wii userbase advantage actually has NO advantage for Core games, Tales of vesperia with MUCH bigger userbase bombed with lower numbers then GC iteration.
SMG - also only did 100k more in Japan, then SMS on GC, with 2,5 mln. userbase advantage.

Wii is hyped only in Fanboys mind. E3 nintendo show was a LETDOWN.

Most of these games will easy cross 3 mln. barrier, other have very high chances. Overall, these games WILL boost PS3 sales by A LOT.

ANyway, all doubters and haters will be owned later this year.)
Just like PS3 started outselling x360 since december 2007 or like selling 9 mln. by the end of 2007, when haters predicted 6-7 mln. =))

All you have done is list more games. No's 1 and 17 are the only ones that are almost a given for 3 million.
2,3,6 and 11 I am doubtful, unless they are bundled.
8, 13 and 15: I would have to check old versions sales but I doubt any of these will get near 3 mil.
4, 5, 7, 9, 14 and 16 are a plain 'No'
12, 18 and 19 I haven't heard of, so another no for them.
And 10 is a PSN right?, so I have no idea and we will likely never find out... even so I am pretty sure it's a no... it may be cheaper if it's on PSN, but it is also shorter and limited to those willing (and capable) of buying online.
