They are not so different. They both have gaming as their main task, the both compete for the same audience (=people that want to buy a gaming system), they both compete for 3rd party investment (games) and they both launched in the same month. Seems like they are not so different after all.

IF you say, that GRAPHICS doesn`t matter to Casual gamer, THEN why people moved from PSone to PS2?

Cause the games stop coming and there was hype for PS2, now the hype is for Wii. You can't have missed that.

x360 is losing to PS3 every week.

But America is still the most important market, and I dont think PS3 will ever capture PS3 there. And that's beside the point, since I do believe PS3 will pass 360 worldwide, this is about Kaz Hirai saying PS3 will do PS2 level sales.

Japan is dead for HD gaming.
Yet, MGS4 sell first week as good as previous iterations. Japan just need more PS3 games. Most new PS3 games already pass 100k on first week sales, this is a good sign.

MGS4 boosted PS3 sales very temporarily and only caused about 100.000 extra PS3's to be sold. Certainly not bad, but nothing the size PS3 needs to stay in the game in Japan. Certainly if you keep in mind that it was one of the 3 major aces in Sony's hand. Now only two are left, and then? I say it again: at this level PS3 needs 100 weeks to sell an additional million.

3) Many other 3 mln. seller are coming later this year.

Yeah, but how many systems will it move. Sure Resistance will sell very well, but the fanbase is already on the PS3 (same for Motorstorm). Real systems sellers are very scarce on PS3. GT5 is 2010, God of War III maybe 2009 and that's about it for the real system sellers. And FF13 will certainly move maybe a million PS3's in Japan, but by then Wii will be over 7 million ahead.

4) Massive movement to Wii? LoL. WHY would (85 mln. PS2 owners) buy Wii????? WHAT are reasons???
Wii get sales from casual NON-gamers + Nintendo fans.

I guess you have been living on Mars for a while. I'm not even going to explain it. You're on a sales site, you can check it yourself.

PS3 can`t be used as Blu-ray player in a Family??? Anyway, time will show, who was right. And i think, by the end of 2008 fiscal year, you gonna change your mind about ps3.)

So please, what's your prediction? Mine is even more positive then Sony's own projection. They have 10 million PS3's for this fiscal year, I say 12 million.
