Uh, up until this gen I was a little kid (or a young teen last gen) and I bought on brand loyalty. I have a NES, SNES, N64, GC, Wii, GB, GB pocket, GB color, GBA, GBA SP, DS, DS Lite. This gen I have gotten a Wii, DS, DS Lite, PSP Slim, Xbox 360. I buy systems now that I have the games I want. I have never bought based on market leadership, though I alsmot bought a PS2 last gen for Kingdom Hearts. My current plan is to buy a PS2 right before it is discontinued... which will be in 2years -.-

I only buy Nintendo consoles.

My older bro would buy a lot of consoles and games and that gave me a chance to play.

I remember having and still have:

Saturn
Playstation 2
Gamecube
Xbox
And so far this gen I have:
360
DS
Wanting a PS3.
To wrap up, I do not only buy the console leader

Well i was bought a PS1 2 years after it came out and i don't think it was in the lead by that time.

I bought a PS2 about 3 months after it launched.
I bought a GC in 2004, and i bought an Xbox a year before the X360 came out.

I bought a PS3 3 months after launch.

I bought a DS because i wanted to play FFIII (in 3D) and Pokemon.

I buy the consoles that Nintendo makes.
