Do you only buy the console that is market leader?

My older bro would buy a lot of consoles and games and that gave me a chance to play.

I remember having and still have:
NES
SNES
N64
Playstation
Saturn
Playstation 2
Gamecube
Xbox
And so far this gen I have:
360
DS
Wanting a PS3.
To wrap up, I do not only buy the console leader
