Forums - Sales - What are the chances the Wii will reach 30 million this week?

I don't think. Why would sales suddenly increase in July?

Larger shipments would be enough to increase sales.  You are correct that there is no reason for demand to suddenly spike in July but demand isn't the limitation on sales in the US.

I don't think so but you never know.

slim... but considering that some updates to some E/O sales might occur maybe a little better than I'm giving it. I've just learned to say recently with Wii and sales anythings possible.

So far, it looks like it all comes down to whether the next spike occurs this week, or the next. I give it a 67% chance. The last gap between spikes was four weeks, but that has been the single longest interval between spikes since supply started fluctuating, and we've already gone three weeks without seeing a spike. Add that to the fact that last week's figures are virtually the same as the week prior to the last spike, and I'd say it's a distinct possibility.
