No problem, but the real question is can they keep their word on releasing it for 2009. |
Well, it's currently set for Spring '09, if that other Sony rep is to be believed, so that would give them an extra six months after that to delay the game if need be while still making it out in '09.
I think it's highly probable it will make it out in '09. It just might not make its initial Spring release window.
Man, they really kept a lid on this. I didn't expect to see this game until late 2009 or 2010.
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
just out of curiosity, has an official statement been said about heavy rain being in development/production? (it might have been said before sorry if it has)
also if they are announcing games that are already well into production wat does that mean for god of war 3
and finally you can all laugh at this but...
i have never played any games like cod4 halo killzone gears of war or any of the sort. the last time i played something remotly similar although still quiet different was duke nukem on pc which made me very nauseus. i tried resistance when it first came out and with in 20mins i was spewing. anyone got any tips on how to get around this, i dont want to be a fps virgin

Depends on what you want from a game in general really.
What do you like about games?
What do you dislike? What was bad about Resistance?
With answers to those questions, we might just be able to find an FPS that appeals to you :P
its not that i didnt like it. not at all
just that the running around aiming and stuff over a period of time i get dizzy, and it develops further till eventualy wat i had for breakfast lunch or dinner decides to come out in a nice bowl of soup (sorry for being discriptive)
the longest i lasted was about 45 mins on resistance and to be honest im not that good at it, but it was fun
i liked heavenly sword, graphics was awesome, some wat of a good story line, way too short game play. reminded me of god of war. ninja gaiden2 on xbox looks impressive, is sigma anything like it?? or should i buy xbox just for that game???
uncharted, half way into it so far so good. i only just picked it up
also got singstar sonic for the kids resistance gow1 gow2 r&c(all of them)
im more of a casual gamer. never understood mgs, never played it to be honest, but the trailer of mgs4 really impressed me.
i like racing games but not a fan of GT. the ferrari game thats just been released seems pretty good to me, might give that a try.
i was one of the first people to buy a ps3 in new zealand. paid $1499 with 1 game and a remote control. and i bought 2. thats right 2 at that price.
since my kids getting older i thought buying wii for them and the family. went to ask and apparently distributor in nz went bankrupt!! new people starting this month as of the 17th
I think you should look at some gameplay videos of Mirror's Edge, and see what happens. I can't really think of an FPS that doesn't have you aim at things all the time, except Mirror's Edge really, and there isn't much shooting to that game.
If Mag does what it's supposed to do smoothly then it WILL be a killer. But until we play it we can only speculate.
| Skeeuk said: MAG has possibly the ability to redefine online gaming on consoles. the power of the cell makes mount Etna, look like a pot noodle gone wrong! i believe MAG to be akin to warhawk in terms of grafix although it may well definatly exceed it. so 256 players online will be no problem for playstation 3 if they have thought it out right. at only $399 and £299 with a new 80 gig model this fall, the ps3 is extremly good value for money. |
(I feel sick)
