It will sell poorly in Europe. Atleast I think so. It will get killed by wii sports resort in it's 2nd week. Coming out 2 weeks later doesn"t help either.

People predicting 2m first week are just setting themselves up for disappointment. Heck, Galaxy only sold 1m first week and that's MARIO. Predictions that optimistic remind me of some really unrealistic (but sincerely held) predictions for elections I've seen (Obama sweeps the deep south, McCain wins California + New York, NDP (Canada) wins over 100 seats.)

Anyway, I predict 90k opening sales, with 700k lifetime sales. Respectable, but nothing earth shattering. My optimistic prediction is 160k opening sales, with 1.4m lifetime.

I'd be very happy to be wrong though, I'd love to see more "core" games on the Wii (my favorite of my systems).

I'll say this game can be compared to the first red steel, mp3c, or cod:waw and it can a near 250k opening week and can sell a million-1.5mil by the end of the year as sales can pick up this holiday season.
