SSBB is at around 3.4M LTD now, if your estimation is correct sales for the game actually went up compared to last month from 171k to 220k. Of course June has 5 weeks compared to 4 in May, so I guess it is possible.

NCAA and Madden will settle the "dominant platform" debate between the Wii and the 360.

No they won't. Sports games aren't big on Wii. 360 will be the dominant platform for those for at least another year.

But Guitar Hero Aerosmith and Lego Indiana Jones sales are additional proof that 3rd party games do sell on Wii. It's in these genres that the PS2 really beat the Xbox and Gamecube.

Lots of Wii software in top 20 there haha.

As I've been saying for awhile the mainstream games are just going to sell better on Wii. Now ones that have a large core following will probably have larger starts but in the long run the mainstream console will get more sales. Starting to see that more in the American market.

I'm just hoping things other than mainstream games can sell on the Wii. Seems to be mainstream games and 1st party. However can the other 3rd party game sell. I think they can as long s they get the advertising out.

According to the NPD, Battlefield: Bad Company for the Xbox 360 was the sixth best selling title overall for the month of June. System by system, the game was the second best seller on the Xbox 360 and the third best seller on the PS3. Battlefield: Bad Company ended up selling 390,000 units across both platforms, with 346,800 copies on the Xbox 360 alone.

Pretty amazing how BF:BC 360 outsold the PS3 version 8-1. I guess most PS3 owners were busy with MGS4, maybe BF:BC will do better for PS3 in July.
