Forums - Nintendo - At TGS, do you expect Nintendo to focus on core games, unlike E3?

Many complaints about the heavy focus on casuals at this year´s E3.

Do you think TGS will be a completely different story?

Around the Network

i hope zelda.

if not i am selling the wii the next day.

On second thought....will Nintendo be attending TGS?

TGS is a Sony show.

^ Last year with DQ IX being on the ds it was a Nintendo show. (:

@Op I expect more from third parties. There might be something though. I would think they will hold their own event to announce games.

Around the Network

I say Leipzig

@fkusumot

The way Nintendo has been dominating the Japanese scene, I figured it´d be heavily a big N show :P

I heard that Nintendo wasn't going to be at Leipzig. Also, I doubt they will be at TGS. Looks like we might have to wait for E For All in October.

Nintendo won't be in Leipzig and normally doesn't attend TGS. We might see a Spaceworld (Nintendo's own event) this year, but it's been quite some time since that was actually organised.

So chances of seeing big Nintendo announcements at big shows are very small.

TGS will probably feature a lot of Wii games from Japanese 3rd parties though.

In other words just like what bengabenga said NO, Wii Music and AC is the only games we got from Nintendo this holiday season. No Kid Icarus, No Zelda, No Pikimin, No F-Zero, no key franchises...

Yeah, we just have to admit the conference was a disappointment but so as other E3 conference like MS and SONY. The only megaton announcement we've known so far was FFXIII on the 360 thats all...

end of core gaming days prediction:

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

E3 2010- Tape runs out
