It'll get announced at some point, just like Eternal Sonata. Games are very rarely Japan exclusive nowadays unless they are very japan-centric. Which I don't think Dead Rising is at all.
...
I believe a game like Dead Rising would sell better in the West, so I am pretty confident it will come to the US at least.
Why show a game at a US event and not bring it to the US?
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)
I'm sure it'll be release in the west. No way Capcom would turn their backs on that sort of money.

Ah, I thought they showed it at E3 as well.
My bad.
This would be a stupid move by Capcom, although to be honest I wouldn't put it past them.
Lost Planet movie anyone?

i hope your right
I don't see why not. They are guaranteed to sell 500k copies in the N.A. (Yes that is a minimum 1yr prediction)
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
