Sorry to burst some of the various fanboys here who don't agree with the OP, but I have read a ton of Articles online tonight and Most of them pretty much feel that either E3 was very lackluster as a whole or that Sony had the best OVERALL Show. Also MS may get a major dagger in the heart if EA inks a deal with bungie. Lets be honest EA loves Multiu plat games. they are greedy and Multi plat means Mega bucks. If this happens count on Master Cheif being on every platform known to man. So Bungie to EA trumps FF on 360, and MS didn't show nearly enough to have the big FF anouncment negated.

i agree sony had the best showing....as a gamer im excited for what i saw from Killzone, resistance, motorstorm, MAG.....just knowing about GOW3, infamous....the online service was up quickly and worked extremely well, if they keep up on it this could be a nice addition.


MSFT looked like fools being able to put out a Singstar and Miis with a straight face.

Nintendo probably cam ein second if th enew controller works as well as demoed and devs take advantage it could be pretty damn cool and important for the Wii.

I think its insanely stupid that people think just because SE is releasing FF13 ALSO on the 360 its a shoe in for MSFT.....the logic escapes me as its not MSFT GAINING anything over sony its MSFT getting an "also on" PS3 game. Not earth shattering for GAMING....it only matters in the Epeen wars.....i care about gaming.

The prize goes to either Microsoft or Nintendo, Sony didn't announce anything really new or shocking.

And the Video service is nice and all, but what the hell does that have to do with gaming?

Again i find it funny people think Sony deserve it for showing a 20sec CGI clip of a tower, and a 10min CGI clip of people running and shooting guns. 2 games that are apparently 2 years minimum away. In 2 years i can bet you Nintendo and Microsoft AND Sony will announce loads of new games. But does 2 movies that show nothing of either game that are at least 2 years away deserve to be given the best conference tag?

Or does games that are shown live with a real person playing it live deserve it?

I'm sorry but quite frankly i find people bigging up the Sony conference what is wrong with the industry. The people who settle for shit games and hype up anything at all simply because it is exclusive. The wierd thing is it is only the Sony fans who are like that. You don't see the Nintendo or Microsoft fans bigging up each and every exclusive thing on their formats like it is the 2nd coming of Mario Bros or something. Like take INfamous for example. The game looks nice, but we all know it is a direct rip off of Crackdown. Take ProDriver for 360, the last in the series got 9/10 reviews (GTR2) but you don't hear the 360 fans proclaiming it to be another GT beater even though it got higher reviews etc...Games such as Alan Wake and Huxley are getting critical acclaim and generating huge interest and they wern't even shown...That is how poor this E3 has been.

GOW3 and MAG right now are just concepts that are years away. If all the companies came out and announced their concepts everyone would be like WOW. But they don't, Sony have just shown 2 concepts for the future. And now the cycle of hype begins once more from the Sony fans.

From a gamer perspective i got to see real games being played in real time on both the Nintendo and Microsoft shows, that is what E3 is about. Games that are incoming. Hell if things were going to be like that Microsoft could of said we got Halo 4 coming out and Nintendo could of said we got Mario Universe coming out. That would of generated loads more interest then those 2 games. The thing that makes them the same is none of them have started development. So no Sony did not win E3. They all lost.

IMO, everybody lost e3. Seriously, it's got to be the most disappointing bunch of press conferences ever done. EA is the winner by default.
