Making fun is different.  Insinuating suicide is something totally different.  I'm not whining, I said I won't own a PS3, and am sad because I see no reason to own one.  I'm not angry at Square Enix or Microsoft, as I'll still get to play FFXIII.

Heh, I remember TGS 2005, when Nintendo revealed it's new Revolutionary controller at the previous Tokyo Game Show. It was a whole new direction and only Nintendo was taking it. It was something that separated us from the pack, and we were proud for it. At that point it was the only thing we had (no screenshots, to tech demos, just that silly little controller).

Fast forward to Sony's 2006 E3 conference. I actually slept through their conference, but I woke up and ran to the nearest computer to see what they had revealed the night prior. I looked and saw that there was no more "boomerang", but a familiar controller with a special function: motion control. I was stunned. Just like that Nintendo had "lost" their trump card, and for the rest of the day all I heard was how Sony had just pulled a triumphant victory over Nintendo. It was tough.

Fast forward to now, Nintendo's Wii is selling like the hottest sort of cakes, and we're playing great games on the console. While Sony still has their Sixaxis, Nintendo continues to break records and provides us with great games that have great uses with the Wiimote.

Maybe my story can help you out.

To think that what happened in Ubidays has anything to do with you or that it was a personal attack vs you is just strange.

For the people reading this, this is kinda off topic to say the least in this Thread. If you want to vent your feelings do it in a PM.

Understanding is a two sided phenomenon if you want any legitimacy to your feelings about the Anti-Ubi boycott, you have to let others express themselves in the forums as well.

So you're depressed and feel sad and you have any rights to... But look at the bright side... Noone can take away your great moments with your PS's but now all this "die hard" Microsoft Fanboys may also feel a little bit of the joy you felt once upon a time because now they may understand what you had (maybe) and they will have their own great moments with a brand they may have never seen before... We may be biased Fanboys but we're all Fanboys of Gaming and a great Game (I guess it will be, haven't played one since 8) should be played by everyone without buying a system that is not suitable for you. Many more will have their great moemnts with this game and so will you, no matter if it's on Xbox or PS (or Wii (Come on S-E you owe us one ^^)) And you still support your "childhood" because Sony will get money for every Xbox copy sold too :) You don't have to feel sad, just stop being egoistic and smile for the game and the players, that's all that counts... I know there are no words to relieve the distress but there's a tomorrow and the sun will always rise...sometimes you just have to look through the clouds :)

And please don't listen to some other Posters and get yourself laid for Final Fantasy, I know there are worse reasons but there are many better too :)
