Is it going to be like the japanses version of eternal sonata that it is timed, or is it not coming to Xbox360 at all? Either way Xbox 360 seems like a pretty good investment, even if it is not popular in Japan. I don't think a timed-release on Japanese XBOX is out of question.

But even if they don't, it's not costly for SE to produce one for Japanese XBOX360.  You don't need to translate in-game texts because it's a Japanese game in the first place. 

Businesswise, there is not much reason for SE not to release one, maybe other than temporarily doing a favor for Sony.

Personally, I think it's a good investment.  I have no trouble playing game in English.  I like Western games as well as Japanese ones.  My partner's PS3 is in my nephew's home and he shows no sign of giving it back.  I just need to convince her that XBOX360 is a better investment than the rumored new DS model, which she wants me to buy above all.

Heh....  I guess it's a type of denial.

And I am laughing at how he's typed in multiple threads that FFXIII will be 720p on the PS3 and 480p on the 360.  Oh crazzy, these forums wouldn't be the same without you.  They'd be more logical and reasonable but nowhere near as fun.

When I first read this today I almost choked. Then I read the forums and it is like a bomb was dropped. It's funny that many Sony fanboys are falling over themselves trying to find some way to down play this. The simple truth is that SE wanted more of the North American market and FF13 is costing them a bundle. I say way to go SE, smart business move.

I give this thread a 9.9.

Wow this is the most shocking news i have heard all day. FFXIII is no longer a PS3 exclusive how did this happen? did the Video Game gods screw Sony over?

This is the biggest blow ever against Sony, and I congratulate Microsoft for doing awesome job this gen they are really spending their money and have the will to do what is necessary. I was planning to buy my PS3 when I get my salary and I was waiting for good news this E3 but now...... I'm probably not going to buy any current gen console this generation and I thank Microsoft for saving me my money. It would have been better if FFXIII were exclusive to 360 because I dont think the quality will be the same..wow multiplat final fantasy( I dont count those lousy pc versions) :D
