Probably the latter.  I mean so far Nintendo has packed their peripheals in a game everytime.  It's just which one now.

But will it change games we already play using the pointer?  Does that mean more accuracy shooting arrows in Zelda: TP or something? 

And I hope the add-on is more supported than the Wii Zapper.

I honestly never could have predicted this...this doesn't even seem logical.

It sounds pretty awesome actually, but I hope it comes in all future Wiimotes, or else it's really nickel-and-diming future buyers.

The XMB doesn't contribute to the gameplay directly as the Wiimote does.

Some people who switched from normal TV to a HD TV complained that the motion sensoring on the WiiMote got slightly slower and it bothers them when it comes to shooting games as Link's Crossbow Training. So, I'm wondering if this new addon will fix that issue as well.
