This seems like an extremely fair/balanced review to me. Take that Eurogamer...

You can't all of a sudden target and shoot enemies while running, for example. You will still need to stop walking to shoot. But the extra speed and accuracy count for a lot. Basically - it gets marked down for graphics (fair enough) considering that it is an old title, and the Wii can do much better these days. But the Wii version is easily the best of the RE4 releases to date.

The fact that it's $30 when Big Brain Academy is $50 is very eye-opening, IMO. Great deal for RE4 at that price.

Truly is. Game informer gave it a 9.5, also citing improved controls.
1up gave it an 8.0, saying the controls, while not terrible, do not make it better than its previous version.

It's the number 2 best rated wii title on metacritic with a current average score of 91 base on 5 reveiws.

(Number 1 is Zelda with 95 and number 3 is Super Paper Mario with an 86.)

No but Improved controlls , a true widscreen, and the addition of the PS2 Extra's at $30.00 do.

Gamespot gave it a 9.1, saying that it is the definitive RE4 version and worth playing.

And 'good old Eurogamer... gave it a 7/10.

I would seriously love for their score to stick out like a sore thumb - I can only imagine the amount of flaming/hate mail they would get over that.

Their review makes it so obvious that they hate the Wii - hands down. Then they shouldn't even bother reviewing Wii games. Better for everyone involved.

EDIT - maybe that should be "hate the Wiimote". They gave Strikers a 8/10 - I really like Strikers, but there is no way that it is a better game than RE4. Strikers doesn't use waggle...?

Well most of the reviews sites and magazines gave it good to very good reviews and even 1up who claimed the controls were not better still gave it an 8.0 so does this lay this whole reviewers are biased against Wii stuff to rest?

 Move on, most reviews gave it better scores.
