Following todays report that Manhunt 2 will be banned in the UK, GamePolitics reports that the ESRB has given Manhunt 2 an Adult Only rating. Take-Two can, apparently, still appeal the decision, though it is difficult to say wheter or not they will succeed, considering the negative press surrounding the game.

Stores like Wal-Mart, Toys "R" Us, and Blockbuster won't be carrying it then. I'm also pretty sure EB Games doesn't carry AO titles as well. It's definately going to severely affect sales.

Read the articles. It say initial rating. ESRB even says that it should have gotten an M rating. I think it'll change to M in the future. I think right now ESRB is trying to keep the politics off them. Wait another day to fire back.

No one knows the real impact of an AO game. Seriously I don't think their has been one.

One of the best movies of all times was rated X it went on to win an academy award...Not that mahunt will be a classic but the rating is just that a rating.

I was gunna buy that game anyways. I buy all Rockstar games because there all quality games. Rockstar is and always will be my favorite company. For sure the game is good because one magazine gave the Wii version a 92%. That pretty damn good.
