I would recommend motorstorm, but motorstorm 2 is better in every single way and it supports up to 4 player offline(split screen)whereas motorstorm does not have split screen.

so I would wait for motorstorm 2 in november.(beside racing in a tropical island with lots of HD vegetation and waterfalls is better than racing in mud)

Oh good.  Yeah, I wouldn't ever buy a racer without splitscreen.  Will it have motion control steering?  I really love that in Mario Kart and would love to see it in some other racers.

There are demos of pretty much everything mentioned here. Try the demos out, first, and see for yourself.

I'm going to try out Folklore next...

I've actually beaten Folkore as Ellen on a friend's console, and yeah I'm probably goign to buy it.  It doesn't have GREAT replayability, but it's only $30, I haven't played Keats yet, and I want it as part of my collection.

Also it's a good thing there are demos, cause I'm going to need something to play for a couple weeks till I get paid again haha.  Well I'm also goign to be playing MGS1-3 via the Essential Collection upscaled ^_^.

^like i said get pixel junk its very cheap

I can't believe anyone hasn't said :

Orange Box(but you might want to get it for the 360 /PC as its the better version)
Rockband
Any sports games
Ninja Gaiden Sigma

you gotta try LAIR! no freaking joke. Unique play style and awesome graphics and if you don't like to control the dragon with the sixaxis you can download the new patch to play with analogs,

Super Stardust HD and Pixeljunk Monsters are two great mini-games.

(Both have co-op)

Virtua Tennis 3

If you can pick it up cheap. (Doesn't really matter if you don't like sports games much, everyone seems to love this title). It's also got multiplayer and co-op.

Then the usual: Uncharted, R&C etc...

yea ,,,motion controls are already supported even in first motorstrom,,,,,and it's really easy to get a hang of it in motorstom(unliku burnout where six axis is really hard to use )

did I mention uncharted is one of the greatest games if you like good story with brilliant graphics?the demo on the PSN is lame in compairon to the whole game and the variety that the game offers through out its campaign.it's the only game I ahve played more than 2 times.yea ,,it's that good.
