Forums - Nintendo - The Terrible Secret of Animal Crossing

http://fromearth.net/LetsPlay/Animal%20Crossing/index.html

This is a pretty old story, but I just discovered and thought I'd pass it along for the sake of anyone who hasn't seen it. It's a unique way of putting together a story for Animal Crossing that's pretty funny for the first nine or so chapters (after that it goes more towards the schlock horror, although in fairness the change isn't completely out of left field either). Be warned that reading the whole thing can be fairly long, but it's still worthwhile and is broken up into smaller chapters.

Enjoy!

HAHAHAHA now that was funny.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Just looking at the cover made me laugh!

Last night I watched my girlfreind play Animal Crossing (1st time I saw an AC game in action) and wow, I found it so simple and tame, but at the same time I wanted to take the controller from her. lol.

Wow, that got really creepy and weird at the end and started to not make sense. How did they feed all those guards/residents? If most of the child laborers did nothing, and the animals did nothing, and the guards/mayor did nothing, how was there enough food?

Heheh, nice.

And really Hawkeye, that's the plot hole that occured to you?

But yeah, the ending was pretty weak compared to the first nine chapters.

After reading the entire story, I quite enjoyed it.
