Forums - Nintendo - SEGA should ressurrect Jet Set/Grind Radio for Wii

never heard of it, but it should be great!

Around the Network

Im pretty sure the game did poorly on DC and XBOX so I doubt they could risk it at this point.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Oh man, you're missing out.  If you can find a Dreamcast or an XBox (a friend, whoever) you should see if you can find a copy of the game.

On topic, it seems like every week I want Sega to remake one of their old games anew.  I was somewhat disappointed with NiGHTS, but it was still fun in its own way.  With Samba de Amigo coming out soon (and supposedly being awesome, according to IGN) I'm getting one wish, i suppose.  Now I just want JSR and Space Channel 5, and Ecco the Dolphin, and Seaman

*sigh* I wish I had a dreamcast...

Please, PLEASE do NOT feed the trolls.

i dont think porting 3-5 year old games is much of a risk, especially for wii. just look @ ghost squad, house of the dead, samba de amigo.

the biggest issue would be sound quality for the banging tunes G.
gotta have it loud. Wii needs 5.1 output sound.

Only these games? What about Shenmue?

Porting Jet Set Radio Future would be child's play, but it doesn't lend itself well gameplay wise to utilize the pointer in any way. I think everyone's asking for a new JSR though. You can buy a used Xbox and a copy JSR Future with an attached SEGA GT 2002 on the same disc for just a little more than $50 probably, so it's not exactly expensive for anyone to join in and get to know the series. Plus a DC is like $20 used and a copy of Jet Grind Radio is like $5.
