1000 wii points is very cheap I dont know why the complain.

It's a decent price, but certainly not a steal.

It's a new game...for $5 extra than a NES game. What's the problem?

well since it shouldnt cost more then a nes game to develop,thats the problem

 

 

 That's absolutely not true. The first Mega Man games were made in a team of around 10 people. Inafune has stated that the dev team working on Mega Man 9 is way bigger than that and also that it was very hard to create the sprites, since very few have experience in that anymore.

For anyone who thinks $10 is too high, look at it like this. If they put any of the old NES MM games on the VC they would cost $5. MM9 costs 5 more dollars because:

1. It's a brand new game being made by a larger team.

2. It has new features that weren't in the old NES MM games. (item shop with upgradable parts, the option to play without Mega Man's helmet, etc.)

3. It has extras that haven't been announced yet. (quotes from gamesradar: "The select screen, which contains more than the game, but we can't talk about that just yet..." and "There's more going on than the regular game, as the menu we mentioned earlier does hold other options." and one more "Let's just say there'll be plenty for hardcore fans to obsess over when it hits WiiWare this fall.")

If you think those 3 reasons aren't good enough to justify 5 more dollars, you might be cheap.

7 Pounds for a Mega Man game? Not bad. Although I'd prefer Mega Man's looks in the SNES/PS era.

Wow, when I saw the title I was like "Wow, that is really cheap!!!". I'm surprised at so much of the negativity in this thread about the price. I'd definitely be willing to pay much more than $10 for this game, but for only $10 this is a great bargain! I'm glad that I still have +2000 Wii points sitting on my Wii, now I can pick this up w/o having to buy more points :)

I was thinking around 500-700points for this, I will have to see how it improves on the others and watch some more videos before I decide if I will put down 1000 for it. The other problem is I recently hit excatly 0 free blocks on my Wii memory which was lucky I had a perfect amount for my Blastworks save 127 I think. But now Im in a bind about buying anything new retail or download.
