Oh no, I'm perfectly serious. See, the reason Yamauchi really retired is because he knew the supply of new Nintendo IPs was drying up like party girl at a Mormon festival, so he got out while the gettin's good.

Just look at the list of DS first party games. You will see that about a quarter of them are new IPs.
