Actually I think namco will first see how well ToV does, and see if a tales game should go multiplat or not. So far though they've seem to be supporting the wii a lot.

You may find it goes multiplatform if true.

The excuse they used for Vesperia exclusivity was that they didn't have PS3 dev kits, but they wouldn't have the same excuse of the flip side.

naa ,,I think they are giving a tale story to each console exclusively(as it's shown in the picture, each console gets a tale)

You think they will actually say that then? Instead of trying to pull a lame exclusivity excuse like "no dev kits?"

The way Microsoft throws money around for JRPG's, and with an already established Tales fanbase on the Xbox 360 by the time Vesperia arrives, I'm just saying I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

that won't necessarily be true

Unless you're implying that not one person will play Vesperia and enjoy it, then yes, it will definitely be true.

Whether or not the fanbase will be big enough to warrant a port however......

ToV and this new game will go to the PS3.JRpg's sell better on a console relevant in Japan.

@ Bleu
ToV is still only a guess for multi plat. Not to mention, if you want a relevant in Japan console Wii is the best, but not only answer.

I lol-ed. So lemme get this straight, r u saying that if its true its going multiplat? I wanna know if u think ToV will go multiplat also, because if not, that is flawed logic. On Topic: Awesome, I just finished buying ToS for GC, and with FF4 for DS coming out late July, Disgaea 3 in August, Valkyria Chronicles coming later on in the year, Im going to finally get a good amount of JRPG goodness to hold me over till the fall.

Read the thread.  This was already covered.  I think (eventually) they will both go multiplatform if each platform shows and ability to sell Tales games well.

thats nice, i was hoping for a tales gamefor the ps3, since i enjoyed tales of symphonia on GC, but i never finished it:(

Nice, I hope all of the platforms gets a nice exclusive Tales Of... game.

Down the track they can work out which sold better, then port the others to that platform...
