Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Castlevania Judgement for Wii... and it's a fighter?!

Well this is interesting, just got this story off of GoNintendo

http://gonintendo.com/?p=47669

Characters confirmed thus far - Dracula, Simon, Alucard, Shanoa, and Maria Renard.
Classic subweapons - holy water, magic spells, dagger, boomerang
Subweapon use still depends on hearts
Remixed classic Castlevania tunes
Set traps, destroyable environments, enemy monsters interfere with battle

Nunchuck controls character movement, Wiimote used for motion attacks

Well... this is quite... unexpected. What do you guys think of this interesting tidbit of news?

I told everyone this was coming....wait what it is a fighting game?

Unless this is a joke, I'll assume it's to test if the Wiimote can really be used for whip control, and just leave it at that.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

I think this will turn out to be crap. DAMN. How can Konami not learn from Capcom/Megaman and make a 2D platform =(

tag:"reviews only matter for the real hardcore gamer"

err...k?

Well lets hope they announce a good Castlevania for the Wii, even the inclusion of Alucard wont get me buying a Fighter that looks like SC or Tekken.

Well this was obvious since soriku didn't make a thread about it that means it is not an rpg.

Ewww. That is not what I want.  Silly Konami.  I can give it a chance I reckon.
