Tom & Jerry (1940s/50s only)

Is there a diffrence?

For me, yes.

In my opinion the T&J cartoons of the 40s/50s are the best cartoons ever created (Hanna-Barbera era, 1940-58).

The T&J cartoons of the 60s were horrible (Gene Deitch era, 1960-62) and mediocre (Chuck Jones era, 1963-67) in comparison.

What you don't like Chuck Jones?, he is a genius!!! The only person that can match him is Tex Avery, and he passes Chuck.

I just said his cartoons were mediocre in comparison to Hanna-Barbera's. This doesn't mean I don't like him or his cartoons, I just think Hanna-Barbera's T&J cartoons are unrivaled until today. As for Tex Avery: It was a different approach, but I never liked his cartoons that much.

I think Classic Merrie Melodies were better than Pre Jones Tom & Jerry.  Not to say Tom & Jerry isn't good, just for me Looney Toons and Merrie Melodies will always take the carrot over Hanna Barbera.

Let's not pretend dude. Bugs Bunny WB cartoons are still some of the best shows that can be seen on television, while Tom and Jerry are barely watchable.

It's not even a fight. Loony Toons OWNS HB and always will. You can write that on my tombstone.

Has no-one ever SEEN the "Kill da wabbit" opera episode? Is that not the best thing ever put to broadcast?

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Zen just reminded me of The Sopranos, the best series of the last decade.

The Sopranos are on place 3 1/2 now on my personal list.

DMeisterJ was born gay, apparently, or is a 13 year old, popular, teenage girl.

Also, imo, I have the best list in the thread, as all should agree, lol.

Fry Hard 2:  The chicken

"Fry some more!"

No order naturally, you ask me to chose the favorite of my children? Which one lives, and which one dies?

Oz
Futurama
The Simpsons
Scrubs
Metalocalypse
Arrested Development

I'll leave it at that. As you can see, I like laughter, and gay prison rape. If I had actually liked the Boondocks, that could have applied in both categories!

See Ya George.

At least following a comedians own jokes makes his death easier.
